Stormies Girl and Traker Dream victorius in Night Styles divisions

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ – February 26, 2004 – Stormies Girl [$6.60, $3.00, $2.10] and Traker Dream [$9.80, $4.20, $2.60] each captured their respective $16,000 division of the second leg of the Night Styles series on Thursday night at the Meadowlands.

Stormies Girl held off Four Starzzz Hope to win her division of the Night Styles Series in 1:53.2.
In the third race, the first division, Stormies Girl, driven by Ron Pierce, took control of the lead mid stretch and held off a late charge from Four Starzzz Hope [$3.20, $2.10] to win by neck in 1:53.2.
Midnight Art [$2.10] finished four and a half lengths back in third.
Trained by Darby Miller, Stormies Girl, a four-year-old daughter of Stand Forever, scored her third win in five starts and increased her lifetime earnings to $89,624 for owners J M L Stables of Heathrow, Florida and Three Ring Circus Stable of Buffalo, New York.
In the fifth race, the second division, Traker Dream benefited from a pocket trip and surged passed the pacesetter Maple Lady [$3.20, $2.20] in the stretch to win by two lengths in a personal best time of 1:52.4.
It was three and a half lengths back to Four Starzzz Ittt [$2.60] in third.
Driven by Jim Morrill Jr. and trained by Alex Kavoleff, Traker Dream scored her first victory in her fifth start and increased her lifetime earnings to $70,439 for the Booff Stable of Howell, New Jersey.
The Night Styles series concludes with a $65,000 final on March 4.
