Meadowlands Pick-4, Races 7-10, Friday, Oct. 19, 2018

Last week, no play on Friday. Saturday, my single and Best Bet won but I only had two out of four in the Pick-4. Minus $4.50 on the meet.

Tonight’s tickets: 50-cent play: 135/9/all/78 = $21

Analysis:

Race 7: Pretty wide open Pick-4. In this race, I’m going to try three. (1) Soul Strong and (3) Darty both come off good efforts over the track. (5) Lucky Weekend was well placed last week but broke, fits well here.

Race 8: (9) Seven Hills is my Best Bet tonight and a single. He is undefeated in three starts and has a lot of potential.

Race 9: To me, this seems like the most wide-open race of the sequence. Since there are only seven horses in the race, I’m going to use all seven.

Race 10: (7) Swancredit set the pace and missed by a neck in last. (8) Pappy Go Go returns off a freshening as he ships in from Canada for good barn and is my top pick here.
