Ann Other Porsche equals Harrington track record

Harrington, DE — Harness The Power and Jonas White’s Ann Other Porsche stormed to her third straight win and equaled the track record (1:53.2) for older pacing mares on Tuesday at Harrington Raceway in the featured $15,000 Filly and Mare Open Pace. Harrington Raceway Photo Ann Other Porsche and Brad Hanners tied the Harrington track record for an older pacing mare with a 1:53.2 score. Trained by Kevin Lare, driver Brad Hanners settled Ann Other Porsche fourth early behind a hot pace of :26.3 and :55, before launching a three wide move up the backstretch to pass tiring pacesetter Jenny’s Picnic for a four length triumph.
The win pushed the eight-year-old Road Machine mare over the $85,000 mark in 2005. The time equaled that of Pelicanrama A, who set the track mark in 2002.
Former track record holder Roses Best (Toby Lynch, Jr.) had things her way in the $11,000 winners over pace with a 1:57 triumph.
The $44,500 Adios Harry Final headlines the Wednesday program. Post time is 5:30 p.m. Parking and admission are free.
