Ft. Washington, MD — With four consecutive wins under her belt, Art’s Pretty Lady will attempt to continue her winning streak in the $6,000 Open Pace for fillies and mares at Rosecroft Raceway on Friday, March 14.

Frank Milby will again be aboard for the drive and the pair are set to leave the gate from post position six as the early 5-2 favorite. Connie Kamit trains the 5-year-old Arturo mare for owners Susan Chytla and Nicholas Kamit, Jr.

Lye Creek Betty returns from the Meadowlands, and may serve as competition for Art’s Pretty Lady at 3-1 early odds. Trained by John Stubbs for himself and co-owner William Shaw, the 6-year-old Mark Jonathan mare has been showing decent speed over the mile track. Donnie Russell will drive the mare away from the gate in post position four.

There are many other contenders to consider. Rounding out the field are Funny Lil Grin (Wayne Long, 8-1) Gorgeous Lover (Victor Kirby, 6-1), Gen-U-Wine Raider (Kelly Staten, 9-2), High Speed Racer (Corey Braden, 9-2) and Dream Dragon (Jason Green, 10-1).

Friday’s post time for the 12-race card is 6:30 p.m.
