EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ – May 5, 2005 – Ideal News, who swept the Blossom Series last month, extended her winning streak to four in the seventh race, a $15,000 condition pace, on Thursday night at the Meadowlands.

Blossom Series winner Ideal News drew off to a length and three-quarters victory over Figure The Odds for her fourth straight win.
Ideal News [$5.80, $2.80, $2.60] rallied from off the pace and drew off to a length and three-quarters victory over Figure The Odds [$2.60, $2.80] in 1:52.2. Freezer Cash [$3.40] was third by three and a quarter lengths.
John Campbell guided Ideal News, a three-year-old daughter of Western Ideal, to her fourth win in five starts this year. The Joe Holloway trainee now has three wins, two seconds and two thirds in 10 lifetime starts and a career bankroll of nearly $70,000. She races for the Brittany Farms of Versailles, Kentucky and Val D’Or Farms of Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey.
