Bold Eagle loops the field and easily defeats his rivals in the Prix Rene Balliere on Sunday at Vincennes.

Franck Nivard eased Bold Eagle from start in the 1-5/16 mile event and waited until 600 meters to go. Nivard then choose to follow Trader, driven by David Thomain, who trotted three-wide. Going into the stretch Nivard took Bold Eagle to the outside, and easily went around the leaders.

Bold Eagle won by three lengths in 1.53.2 (mile rate) followed by stablemate Valko Jenilat driven by Eric Raffin.

The purse for the winner was $100,000.

In Sweden Nuncio is still struggling to find the form that enabled him to go undefeated through 2016.

Driven by Örjan Kihlström, Nuncio raced at Rättvik and finished third. On Track Piraten driven by Johnny Takter was in command the whole trip and was a very easy winner followed by Order to Fly driven by Per Lennartsson.
