Lexington, KY — Three-year-old Kentucky sired trotters and pacers were back in the Red Mile spotlight on Thursday night, August 14, and the betting public was right on target as six of the seven winners were betting favorites.

Btwnyurheartnmine was a 1:50.1 winner for Andy Miller in her KYSS split.

The fastest and perhaps most impressive sire stakes winner of the night came in the tenth race, a $25,000 division of 3-year-old filly pacers. Btwnyurheartnmine took the lead just past the quarter for driver Andy Miller and never looked back to romp home a 3-1/4 length winner in 1:50.1. The daughter of Real Desire-Winbak Pam recorded her fifth win and lowered her lifetime mark by over three seconds in her first start for the Erv Miller barn. She is owned by the Lake to Sky Farms LLC and Mark Fransen. Age Of Consent rallied for second for driver Trace Tetrick, while Desirable Cindy was a hard charging third for pilot Travis Seekman.

“She is a really nice filly, and Mark (Fransen) left her down here with Erv (Miller) to race in Lexington,” driver Andy Miller said. “She was unbelievably strong tonight and was just coasting through the wire.”

Miller said he was unsure about the filly’s schedule for the remainder of the year, but she is pointed towards the $300,000 KYSS final on August 31 at The Red Mile in the immediate future.

Elsewhere in KYSS action, Hartmann, a 3-year-old son of Like A Prayer-Canne Angus remained undefeated in his sixth lifetime start for the Hatfield Stables, scoring in 1:57. Jeff Nisonger was once again aboard for the victory for trainer Brent Davis. Hartmann was able to dig in and hold on for a three-quarter length win over defending KYSS champion Shaman Hall and driver Mike Lachance. Like A Dream and driver Ron Pierce were 2-1/4 lengths back in third.
