London, ON — The 3-year-old colt Caprino Hanover is going to draw a lot of interest again when he starts at Western Fair in the sixth race on the Friday, May 11 program.

The Western Hanover-Cathedra colt is a full brother to Western Shooter p,2,1:50 ($904,462), and a half-brother to Cathedra Dot Com p,3,1:51 ($1,520,487), Cabrini Hanover p,2,1:51s ($1,303,790) and The Preacher Pan p,4,1:50s ($566,388).

Caprino Hanover was a high priced yearling, selling for $270,000 in 2005 at the Standardbred Horse Sale in Harrisburg. He made just a single start in 2006 as a 2-year-old. He is owned, trained and driven by Gino Toscani of Mount Hope, ON.

In his 3-year-old debut last week, Caprino Hanover raced gamely first-over and finished second.

Also in Friday night’s sixth race, another promising colt, Patch Seelster, is the 5-2 morning line favorite in the C$7,500 event for non-winners of C$5,000 lifetime. This 3-year-old Camluck-Parcel ridgling is trained by Murray Preszcator for owner Dr. Paul Gatfield of Denfield, ON. Don McElroy is listed to drive Patch Seelster for his first start of 2007.
