Meet totals: 75 plays, 11 winning Pick-4s, +$190.60

Balmoral Park Pick-4, Races 9-12, Friday, Nov. 6, 2015

$1 play: 1234/46/6/15 = $16

Analysis:

Race 9: Tough race to handicap. I have to take four horses in wide open first leg. (3) Dp Angel returns off some dull efforts at Hoosier but was facing far tougher when last seen at Balmoral where she has paced some fast miles in the past, finds a good spot and is “Double Oo’s” choice in the race. (4) Jinxy’s Delight has won last two at Balmoral in game uncovered fashion, the latest off a lame scratch. Steps up but appears sharp enough to go with these. (1) Parklane Glitter is lightly raced but talented 3-year-old who has a big late motor and figures to work out a ground saving trip from the rail. (2) Four Hour Nap lacked a late rally off good second over trip against tougher. Drops to the level of a lifetime best mile back in September and cannot be discounted.

Race 10: (6) Conzo has made giant moves in last two and finished evenly in both, may be set now. (4) Barbosa is the likely favorite in here, has had a good late kick from post nine in last two, following a good speed try three back. Looks like the one to beat from this spot.

Race 11: (6) Fox Valley Brooke has had a huge year in sophomore filly stakes events and now gets in with the older gals at a level she blew out back in October at 1-9. Tough chalk.

Race 12: (5) Get The Terror had post 10 in last and was far back early, launched a :53.4 wide middle half move but was too far back to sustain rally in fast paced mile; two back set the pace over track labeled “good” and gave way grudgingly late. The 4-year-old is 0 for 19 on the year but may be heading in the right direction and looks dangerous on or from off the pace. (1) Eva Bella appeared overmatched in last two at Hoosier, returns to Balmoral at a level she had been racing well at and gets the rail.

Good luck!
