Chai Sign heads Monday’s feature at Pompano

Pompano Beach, Florida – January 30, 2005 – Chai Sign, a $221,000 career winner, heads the 6th race feature pace at Pompano Park Monday. The nine-year-old gelding, owned by the Keisers Oberman Stables of Boca Raton, starts from post two for driver/trainer George Napolitano, Jr.

His main rival is Tyzer (post 5) who won last week in a lifetime best mile of 1:54.1. Tyzer has yet to finish worse than third in his three starts in 2005. The five-year-old Florida-bred stallion will be driven by Wally Hennessey for the ABC Farms of Pelham Manor, NY.

Stylish Glory is another contender from post four for driver Joe Pavia, Jr. A winner in two of his last three starts, Stylish Glory also posted a lifetime best mile of 1:55.1 three starts back. The Florida-bred four-year-old gelding is owned and trained by John Hallett of Margate.
