Balmoral Park Pick 4, Races 7-10, Sunday, June 3, 2012

This is another round of needing some luck from the game’s math, as we are concentrating on contenders that have a thing or two that allow them to be outsiders, probably out of the first three choices. Of course that is in our area of playing for the best portion of the pool and if we are correct about them all this will be a whopper. If we are correct about one or two we will cut into the losses.

Analysis:

Race 7: (5) Edita Hanover took on some tough ones last out and was skinned going without cover in a swift panel. Her best can be seen from this post if she gets a decent spot and doesn’t hang late, giving us a big price to start.

Race 8: (6) Apache Wells was good last week, sliding up the inside to gain important ground and finish third at 37-1. Before that she went long and hard at Maywood before tiring. She could be a strong finisher here.

Race 9: (4) Miss DW Chip scratched last week, canceling our Sunday ticket. She was good enough to be a single then but here she will have to share the leg with (6) Pow. He also scratched last week as he was going to try again in this class after losing to a breaker in front of him. Here he has a good chance to coast if rated well enough.

Race 10: (3) Lotsa Cotton was beaten by one of his foes here tonight but with an excuse. His sulky wheel went flat and when he was challenged at three-quarters it seemed to cost him some ground. He was there at the end, in third, but may have been better with some air in his tire.
