Dan Noble reached the 3,000 career win mark on Friday at Batavia Downs.

Noble, an Ohio native, reached the 3,000 career-win mark when he guided heavily favored King Otra ($2.50) to a gate-to-wire score in the fourth race of the evening.

The 29-year-old Noble was quick to thank his father, Sam “Chip” Noble III.

“He taught a lot and he’s had a big influence in my driving career,” Noble said. “I also want to thank everyone that has given me the opportunity to drive for them.”

Noble was the dash-leading driver in 2011. His 773 victories bested George Brennan by 19 wins.

This year Noble currently ranks tied for fifth with 446 wins. Dave Palone leads all drivers with 559 winner circle visits.
