Dance Hall was a 1:52.3 winner for Eddie Davis, Jr. in the Mares Open.

The 5-year-old Blissfull Hall mare settled in behind a blistering opening quarter by Poppy Lustre N in :26.1, who was then overtaken by Yada Yada Yada A. After a half-mile in :55, Dance Hall grinded uncovered into contention and battled with Ireneonthemove for the lead through the three-quarters in 1:23.4. Dance Hall would win the stretch duel as ‘Irene’ gave way grudgingly. Yada Yada Yada A was third.

Dance Hall, a Dan Warrington trainee, has earned nearly $100,000 in 2007.

Driver Anthony Morgan won six races on the program.
