FREEHOLD, NJ – Dontloseyourday Job captured one of three $10,000 New Jersey Sire Stakes Green Acres events for 2-year-old pacing colts and geldings, setting a stakes record of 1:54.2 in the fourth race on Friday [September 7] at Freehold Raceway.

Dontloseyourday Job, driven by David Miller and trained by Monte Gelrod, was a 9-1/2 length winner over Ammo Sid. He erased the Green Acres record for 2-year-old pacers of 1:55.2 set by Beware of Darkness [a son of Matt’s Scooter] on September 15, 2006.

Bred and owned by the Fred Monteleone Stable LLC of Pompano Beach, Florida, the son of Life Sign – Ici Aussie paced a personal best to pick up his second win with one second in four career outings and push his earnings to $12,500. Sent off as the odds on favorite, he paid $3.00, $2.40, $2.20.

Ammo Sid [Red River Hanover] returned $4.20, $3.00. It was 10 lengths to Daley Deposit Only [Artiscape], $2.60, in third.

In the other two third-leg Green Acres events, winning performances were turned in by Genuwine [Cam’s Card Shark] in 1:56.2 and Russian River [Red River Hanover] in 1:59.1.
