Celina, OH — It was another big night of Signature Series racing on Thursday night (September 13) at the Wyandot County Fair in Upper Sandusky, Ohio, with the Sandusky River Pace.

Little Brown Jug Day will decide the 2007 Signature Series Pace Champion after a classic match-up between Lotsabelief and Rock Sensation, who finished first and second in the first division of the Sandusky River Pace. Lotsabelief (5, g, Firm Belief-Gragaston-Camtastic) won the first division in a time of 1:57.2 for owner/driver Justin Hall, nipping Rock Sensation, who was second, in 1:58. The two horses are separated by only two points going into the Signature Series Final on Little Brown Jug Day.

The night also featured the third straight Signature Series win for millionaire horse Allamerican Captor in the second division of the Sandusky River Pace. Allamerican Captor (7, h, Jate Lobell-Can Du River-Cam Fella) won his Signature Series Pace event for Victory Hill Farm and driver Jay Cross with a time of 1:59.2, nipping Dan Chaz.

The Signature Series now moves on to the Delaware County Fair next week for the Signature Series Final races. The Signature Series Trot will be held on Wednesday, September 19, which is Jugette Day. The Signature Series Pace will be held on Thursday, September 20, which is Little Brown Jug Day.

Horses who have qualified to compete in the Signature Series Final need to contact Delaware ASAP for entry. The top eight horses in both the pace and trot have the first chance to enter; if they decide not to race, others will have a chance to enter according to the final points standings (ninth, 10th, 11th, etc.).
