Dream Vacation progeny reign in NJSS

East Rutherford, NJ — Daughters of Dream Vacation swept all three New Jersey Sire Stakes divisions for 3-year-old filly trotters on Wednesday night (May 30) at the Meadowlands.

Granny Gui was a 1:57.1 winner in the final division.

In race one, Victoria Volo and driver John Campbell made a three-wide move in the stretch and closed fastest of all to nip the pacesetter, Maryanne K, at the wire in 1:56.4. Victoria Volo has won nine of 12 career starts for trainer Jim Campbell and owners Linda and Lee DeVisser of Holland, Michigan.

Flash Lightning cruised to a 1:56 win in the third race division with Daniel Dube at the lines. Sent off as the 6-5 favorite, Flash Lightning picked up her first win in three starts this season for trainer Tony Mannino and the Lightning Stable of Millstone, New Jersey.

In the final division, race six, Granny Gui held off Wishful Me by a head in 1:57.1. Driven by Mike Lachance, Granny Gui recorded her first win in three starts this year for trainer Sam Fava and the Sophia Stable of Mt. Kisco, New York.
