Ft. Washington, MD — Drivin’ Miss Rudee, favored at 8-5 morning line odds in a competitive field of five filly and mare pacers, will try for two consecutive wins in the $6,000 featured Winners Over event at Rosecroft Raceway on Saturday, Feb. 24.

The 5-year-old Walton Hanover mare, co-owned by William Camp, Jr. and trainer John Sumner, paced wire-to-wire in 1:57.1 last week in this class to earn her first victory of the season. Driver Donnie Russell will again be at her lines and the pair will face the starter in post position four.

From the rail, GH Shady Lady is listed as the second choice on the morning line at 5-2 odds. The 5-year-old Shady Character mare, owned and trained by Basil Sapienza, turned in a first-over effort last week to finish third behind Drivin’ Miss Rudee. Regular reinsman Frank Milby will again be in the sulky. GH Shady Lady has had three wins from five starts this year.

B N The Money, at 7-2 odds from post five, is another to consider. The 5-year-old daughter of Misfit competed at The Meadowlands last week and was mildly overmatched. During the 2006 season at Rosecroft, however, B N The Money shows success – hitting the board in 15 of 27 starts. Trained by Manley Brown, Jr. for owners Only Money Inc., B N The Money will have driver Walter Callahan at her lines.

Rounding out the field are two other strong contenders: Adelias Girl (Timmy Offutt, 6-1) and Twin B Scamper (Corey Braden, 4-1).

Post time for Saturday’s 13-race card is 7:20 p.m. at Rosecroft.
