Dover. DE — After a two-day hiatus on Thanksgiving day and Friday (Nov. 28), live racing returns to Dover Downs on Saturday (Nov. 29) when the Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund (DSBF) begins its second and final preliminary round.

Several of this week’s 2-year-old events will be raced on the weekend cards, some non-wagering.

On Saturday, six preliminary $20,000 divisions for fillies will be contested, three for trotters and three for pacers. The three paces are on the wagering program while the three trots are non-wagering.

The Sunday card features five colt divisions with one on the betting program. The other four, two paces and two trots, are non-wagering races held prior to the regular 5:30 p.m. post time.

The top eight point getters in each division qualify for next week’s $100,000 finals. The filly and colt trot finals are scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 7, with the colt and filly pace finalists meeting on Monday, Dec. 8.
