Northfield, OH — Dean Davis’ world champion Dunkster ($2.60) was assigned the outside post seven in Monday’s (October 1) $8,000 Open Trot, but it made no difference as the 8-year-old Striking Sahbra gelding cruised to the front before the half and posted a 1:57.2 win over a ‘sloppy’ track.

His 77th career win made him 10 of 23 this year, while his lifetime bankroll stands at an impressive $767,238 after the four length win.

Oneforthemaster led early and stalked the winner, but was unable to get close, finishing second, while Show Me The Monet was third.
