Driven by John Campbell and trained by Bruce Saunders, the bay colt by Falcon Seelster paced the mile in a new mark of 1:53.3.

Sleep Easy [$4.40, $3.40] finished second, and it was two and a quarter lengths back to Mystic Gold [$4.00] in third.

“There was a lot of confusion up to and following the first turn,” commented Campbell after the victory. “We had cover up the half, but it got pretty rough from the half on. This horse is very professional for a two-year-old. He just goes out there and does his job.”

“We didn’t have him over the winter,” said Eric Shulman, assistant trainer for the Bruce Saunders stable. “We got him two months prior to the baby race. Paul Bernardo did a great job breaking him.”

Eleven A M scored his second victory in his third start of the year and increased his earnings to $125,025 for the Berry Stables of Staten Isl
