Pompano Beach, FL — Berry Stables’ Eleven A M came out on the triumphant end of a three-way win photo on Saturday (November 17) when charging down the center of the track to claim victory in the featured $14,000 Open Handicap Pace at Pompano Park, prevailing by a neck in 1:52.4.

Eleven A M (#7) surges down the center of the track to capture the featured $14,000 Open Handicap Pace.

Driven from post seven by trainer Bruce Ranger, Eleven A M settled in fourth place through the early stages of Saturday’s main event as No Wrong (Kevin Wallis) rocketed to the front and took the field through opening fractions of :27.2 and :56.

As the pacers made their way down the backstretch, Copper Color (Dan Clements) and No Nonsense Yankee (Wally Hennessey) were angled off the pylons to begin an outside quest towards the leader, shuffling Eleven A M back to sixth place as No Wrong hit the three-quarter marker in 1:24.2.

No Wrong entered the lane with a one length advantage over the pocket-sitting Sandstorm N (Daryl Bier), but quickly surrendered the top spot to that rival, who held the lead through the final yards before being bested in the shadow of the wire by a determined Eleven A M.

Eleven A M returned $6.00, $5.60 and $3.80 for the victory. Sandstorm N paid $6.80 and $4.80 for second, while No Nonsense Yankee brought in $4.00 for third.

Eleven A M is a New York-bred son of Falcon Seelster, out of the Royal Command C mare Imustbedreamin. The 5-year-old has prevailed in 10 of 23 starts this year, and eclipsed the $400,000 mark in lifetime earnings with his Saturday triumph.
