EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ – July 14, 2004 – Elite Sorority [$12.00, $6.60, $5.00] splashed home to a two and three-quarter-length victory in the seventh race, the $150,000 New Jersey Sire Stakes Final for two-year-old pacing fillies, on Wednesday night at the Meadowlands.

The brown daughter of Cam’s Card Shark paced the mile in 1:54.4 on a surfaced rated sloppy.

Elite Sorority picked up her first win in her second career start. Trained by Brian Brown, she is owned by Irving Bork of Woodside, New York.

“She’s just a doll baby; I love her,” said winning driver Ron Pierce. “All you have to do with her is push the button, and she takes off. She relaxed real nice from the start. I could feel her working a little harder with the sloppy track. But she was able to fight through it.”

Unspoken [$13.40, $5.20] edged out A Call To Mind [$4.20] for second.
