“Ezy” does it on Tuesday

Harrington, DE –– Robert and Rhonda Smith’s Ezy Dell N earned her third win of 2004 at odds of 11-1 in Tuesday’s featured $11,000 mares winners over pace at Harrington Raceway.

The eight-year-old In The Pocket mare covered the mile in 1:572 over a “sloppy” track. Driven by Kevin Sizer, “Ezy” received a pocket trip behind pacesetting favorite Pelicanrama A (Jim Morand) and made the lead in the final strides for the win. Roses Best (Toby Lynch, Jr.) was third.
Kevin Sizer won three races on the program.
The fastest race on the program was the fourth when 12-1 shot The Ides Of March (Ross Wolfenden) launched a late rally to win in 1:55 for owner Sam Jacobs.
John Wagenhoffer’s trotting mare September Bride won her third consecutive race in 2:003.
