Ft. Washington, MD — The betting favorites won the featured races at Rosecroft Raceway on Tuesday evening (November 26) with ease, each wiring their respective fields in the Open Pace and Trot.

In the $9,000 Open Pace, True North Hanover ($4.40, $3.20 $2.10) took the lead from post position five with trainer Donnie Russell in the sulky. The 4-year-old gelded son of The Panderosa, co-owned by Russell and Edward Needle, cut quarters of :27.1, :57 and 1:25.2 to win by a half-length in 1:53.1.

Crazy For Ever ($4.00, $2.10), at 2-1 odds by post time, finished second after making up ground in the stretch. Driven by Frank Milby for trainer George Bartlett, the 6-year-old Life Sign gelding closed with a sharp :27.3 last quarter. Bartlett co-owns the pacer with Alvin Mindel.

Rounding out the $32.40 trifecta was Uncle Bingo ($4.20) with Billy Mann in the bike. After pacing third-over nearing the three-quarter pole, the 6-year-old Armbro Operative gelding hit another gear in the stretch to finish just three-quarters of a length off of the winner. Stan Hathaway, Jr. trains for owner George LaGrutta.

Khifra Hanover ($3.20, $2.20, $2.10) was sharp in the $9,000 Open Trot, winning by five lengths in 1:55.4. Driven by Frank Milby for trainer Don Milby, the 5-year-old Lindy Lane mare led the field through well-rated fractions of :29, :58.1 and 1:26.4 to draw away in the stretch. Julianna Edwards owns Khifra Hanover.

Second under the wire were Grand Sovereign ($4.00, $2.60) and driver John Wagner. After trotting first-over to challenge the leader, the 6-year-old Royal Strength gelding closed in a :29.3 final tick. Manley Brown, Jr. trains for owner Scott Woogen.

Cum On Windswept ($3.00) finished third for owner John Swart. Driven by Wayne Long, the 9-year-old Cumin horse worked out an easy trip along the rail. Gary Cameron II trains.
