Salem, NH — Fern Paquet, Jr. posed for a quartet of winner’s circle pictures at Rockingham Park on Wednesday (August 8) after he drove horses to victory in four of the 10 races on the afternoon card.

Paquet not only scored, but he did so with the longest shots on the board in two of the first three races. Putnam Ourtown paid $55.60 to start off the early daily double and Sandra Hotspur returned $72.20 for a $2 wager in the third, which was also the start of the Pick 3. Seventh race winner Raider Rally paid $5.40 while Vida Loca finished the day with a $4.60 payout in the last race.

Paquet’s big outing moved him up into fourth place in the driver’s standings with 36 wins on the season with 15 days of live racing left in the summer meet.

Live racing resumes on Friday with post time of 1:05 p.m. On Saturday, fans can enter to win four Red Sox tickets as part of the Miller Lite Summer Fun Day. There will also be tee shirts and other goodies from Miller Lite while supplies last.
