Racing fans now have an opportunity to make their wagers early on the 64th Little Brown Jug.

Future wagering will get underway at noon today and will be offered through 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 23 at the regular betting windows throughout the fairgrounds. Early wagers will also be accepted at racetracks and Internet sites throughout North America and Europe.

To bet on the Future Pool at Delaware tell a Mutuel Clerk that you want to make a bet on the “Little Brown Jug Future Pool No. 3”. Future bets are win only with a $2 minimum and there will be no refunds if a horse scratches after the pool closes on Wednesday.

The horses entered for the $609,150 Little Brown Jug are listed in alphabetical order (see below) with morning line odds assigned by a team of racing analysts and handicappers.

A team of racing analysts assigned morning line odds on the 19 Jug starters. Vintage Master is the morning line favorite at odds of 8-5 followed by Mr. Wiggles at 2-1and Well Said 5-2.

The winner of each pool is determined by the official first place finisher in the 2009 Little Brown Jug, to be raced September 24.
