Fred (Freddie) Hudson – Candidate’s Platform

We would change the look of the sport to a rather more sophisticated event – the overall experience is essential. There are splendid announcers that would do an outstanding job of talking about the sport, interviews with drivers and trainers that people would enjoy, and more time with the top horses so that they get to know them.

We could review any and all aspects of the current coverage, on-site, and website viewing and determine what works and what needs updating to deliver the best product.

We would conduct a real marketing campaign after conferring on what we will be presenting and changes.

We would incorporate a few European current race ideas into the mix that make the sport successful there.

We would review and make needed changes on drugs for horses and any other illegal/unfair practices that result in races won without merit.

We would support sanctuaries, non-profits, and organizations or a means to support horses after their racing careers end.

We would bring our best ideas, practices, and solutions to create a new present and future for harness racing.

We would have an open-door policy and collaboration on ideas and approaches within our organization.
