Keith Gisser offers his picks for the $10,000 Pick 4 at Northfield Park on May 2, part of the USTA Strategic Wagering program. Northfield Park Pick 4, Races 8-11, Monday, May 2, 2011 The play: 13/2347/129/13 = $48 Analysis: Race 8: Alliance Hall is the clear choice, but Master Lad Pro is in very good form. The other contenders are “on the ticket” horses, not winners. Race 9: I am tempted to single Go Go Osborne, but these youngsters can step up at any time, so we protect ourselves by going relatively deep. Race 10: Ron Jeremy seems to stand out, but is only 1-15 this year, so we need to protect the ticket, especially since Dickie Tad is not much of a leaver. Those two will likely be first and second up. Race 11: Caprcious Art let me down last time so I will back myself up with Tieler Bea Hotspur. The rail is a great angle at this bottom class.
