It’s My Time was a 2:01 winner for Jimmy Takter.

It’s My Time and Jimmy Takter took the second division in 2:01 for owners Christina Takter, John Fielding, and Free Money Stable. The 2-year-old daughter of Angus Hall was a $22,000 yearling purchase at the Lexington Selected Sale in Lexington, Kentucky.

It was the first career start for It’s My Time and Takter wasted no time putting her on the lead through fractions of :30.3, 1:01, and 1:30.2 before coasting home in :30.3 to seal the victory. Perugia and Jimmy Marohn, Jr. trotted strong down the stretch to get second, while Lakin Beau Bakin was third.

Bruce Clarke and Global Glamour pulled off the minor upset victory over the heavy 1-4 favorite Epangeline in the first division with a mile of 2:00.4. Clarke and Global Glamour enjoyed the two hole trip behind Ray Schnittker and Epangeline through fractions of :31.1, 1:01.3, and 1:31.4. It was at the top of the stretch when Clarke said ‘go’ and the daughter of Like A Prayer responded by trotting home in :28.3. The filly was a $30,000 yearling purchase in Lexington, Kentucky for James McLaughlin and Lynne Foley.

In the third division for 2-year-old trotting fillies it was again driver-trainer Jimmy Takter in the winner’s circle. Takter and Beauty Queen enjoyed the garden trip behind Jim Morrill, Jr. and Pose For Me through fractions of :29.1, :59.2, and 1:29.4. The Striking Sahbra daughter got up at the wire for Takter to stop the timer in 2:01. The filly was bred and is owned by Brittany Farms of Versailles, Kentucky.

Jimmy Takter, Josh Marks, and Jim Morrill, Jr. all posted driving doubles on the night’s 10-race card.

Grand Circuit racing continues at Tioga Downs all weekend long, which includes a special Monday race card at 6:50 p.m.
