East Rutherford, NJ – Aided by a second-over trip and an early miscue by the favorite, Greensview Hanover [$49.60, $29.80, $19.60] lit up the tote board in the $49,400 Father Foley Memorial, the sixth race, on Sunday afternoon at the Meadowlands.

Greensview Hanover trotted to a two and a half length victory in 1:54.4, giving Brian Sears a driving hat trick on the card. Coerfurst [$6.00, $5.00] was locked in behind the tiring pacesetter Sundown Score and found room late to finish second. It was two and a half lengths to Blastaway Sahbra [$11.60] in third. Greensview Hanover improved his career record to nine wins in 38 starts and $114,920 in earnings. Trainer Trond Smedshammer shares ownership of the five-year-old Lindy Lane gelding with Ted Gewertz of New York, New York; the Gandolfo Stables of Saddle River, New Jersey; and Lenny Zelin of Franklin Lakes, New Jersey.
