Columbus, OH — A group of investors is reportedly seeking to revive racing at Georgetown Raceway in Delaware, and has sent a letter to the Delaware Racing Commission asking for conditional approval of a racing license.
The track was last used 10 years ago, as a training center, and sits on approximately 70 acres.
The Sussex (Del.) Countian is reporting that the group has long term plans to acquire more acreage, with its aim to build a racino.
