East Rutherford, NJ — For the first time in 30 years, harness horses will race on the turf at the Meadowlands on Friday, June 19.

A field of eight, $15,000 claiming pacers will line up behind the mobile starting gate for a one-mile event on the grass.

The race will be part of the betting program; post positions will be drawn Tuesday, June 16.
