I Luv The Nitelife heads field of 10 in $257,750 Jugette

Delaware, OH — I Luv The Nitelife, the number three ranked Standardbred in North America, is the heavy favorite in the $257,750 Jugette 3-year-old filly pace on Wednesday (Sept. 18) at the Delaware County Fair.

I Luv The Nitelife leads a field of ten into the Jugette.

The daughter of Rocknroll Hanover has won 10 of 11 seasonal starts and has banked more than $1.5 million in career earnings. I Luv The Nitelife will leave from post three in the first heat and will have the services of Tim Tetrick. She is owned by Richard and Joanne Young and is conditioned by Chris Ryder.

Shebestingin and Jerseylicious should provide the main competition to I Luv The Nitelife. Shebestingin has 10 career wins in 16 starts and owns a lifetime mark of 1:49. Joe Holloway trains the daughter of Bettor’s Delight for Val D’or Farms, Ted Gewertz and L&L Devisser. She will leave from post seven.

Jerseylicious drew the second strating poistion. She has shown consistency this season with 15 top three finishes in 18 seasonal starts. Corey Callahan will drive Jerseylicious for the Legacy Stable of Delaware and Pamela M. Curran.

A pair of Jugette entries, Carol’s Desire and Novascotia Hanover, will be racing Friday night in the Pennsylvania Sire Stakes final at the Meadows.

All ten horses will advance to the second heat. The winner of the second heat will be declared the Jugette champion.

The first heat will be raced for $103,100 and the second heat will carry a purse of $154,650.
