Ingraham, Bartlett score driving triples at The Rock

SALEM, NH – David Ingraham and Jason Bartlett traded places in the Rockingham Park winner’s circle all afternoon on Saturday as each driver won three races on the 10-event card.

Turning the double hat trick, Bartlett started the day off with a first race win with Incredible Mouse ($5.60), a third race score with Honkifulikemynose ($21.00), and a seventh race victory with Billsboybob ($4.80) while Ingraham won the fifth race with HP Lenny Lavec ($7.00), the sixth with On The Double ($5.80), and the eighth with Legends Never Die ($5.80).

Ingraham, who is vying for his third straight leading driver of the year honors at The Rock, stretched his lead atop the standings with 32 victories in only 17 live racing days during the current 58-day current meet.

While Ingraham drove 7-5 second favorite Golden Mattjesty in Saturday’s featured $10,000 Pace, he could finish no better than fourth in the six-horse field. Top honors went to John Nason, who pulled off the mild upset while piloting 7-1 choice Allnightcardgame to a late closing win to prevail by a half-length over 4-5 favorite and pace setter Jag Star N in 1:55.4.

For Nason, it was his second win on the day.

Allnightcardgame, trained by Dawn Anderson and owned by James Rogers of Hampton Falls, NH, has now won three of his 12 starts this year and his second test at Rockingham.

Live racing continues on Sunday with 10 races and post time of 1:05 p.m.
