JM Vangogh crosses the finish line in his track record mile.

The Chambers-trainee set all the fractions in his track record setting effort. The 7-year-old Earl stallion has banked more than $1.3 million lifetime and better than $121,000 this year. Bud Ross finished second with Spare Time Rozie third.

Earlier on the program, M&M Harness Racing and Patrick Lachance’s Winbak Red (Morgan) improved to 4-for-4 at Harrington with a 1:59.1 triumph.

Morgan registered five winners on the program.

Thursday’s races will be headlined by the Mildred Williams Driving Series, an event for female drivers. The event’s namesake was one of the first successful female drivers and helped pave the way for many more.

The women slated to drive are Joey Ayotte, Leah Vandervort, Karen Moore, Linda MacDonald, Ann-Karin Larsen, Valerie Warnick, Marie-Claude Auger and Kelly Case. They will go postward on the card’s ninth race.

Post time is 5:30 p.m.
