Harrington, DE — Lester Walls and Jack Upchurch’s Cams Little Imp N earned her fourth win of the year and made a successful seasonal debut at Harrington Raceway with a 1:554 win in the featured $15,000 Filly and Mare Open on Tuesday.

Driven by Brad Hanners for trainer Wayne Whitson, Jr., the seven-year-old Camtastic mare set the pace and drew clear by two lengths at the line over late-charging Crossfire N (Mike Cole) and Sandtana Score N (Art Stafford, Jr.).

Later on the program, Phillip and Rodney Long’s Mapua Magic N launched a wicked late rally at odds of 19-1 to win the $11,000 mares winners over pace. Driver Ross Wolfenden and the five-year-old daughter of Holmes Hanover surged by tiring pacesetter Roses Best late to win in 1:544, the night’s fastest race.

Racing continues Wednesday with a 5:30 p.m. post time.
