Lady In The Wind favored in New Jersey Futurity

Manalapan, NJ — Lady In The Wind, a daughter of Windsong’s Legacy, has been installed as the 9-5 morning line favorite in the $51,200 New Jersey Futurity for New Jersey-sired 3-year-old trotters, the second race on Friday, Sept. 25, at Freehold Raceway.

The field of five includes two fillies, two colts and one gelding, offspring of Muscles Yankee and Windsong’s Legacy.

Lady In The Wind, driven by David Miller and trained by Joseph King, has finished in-the-money in eight of 11 starts this year. Unraced at two, the filly has banked $52,607 for owner-breeder Dreamland Farms. Her biggest paydays came when she finished third in the $80,000 Helen Smith Final and fourth in the $100,000 New Jersey Sire Stakes Final, both at Freehold.
