Northfield, OH — Saturday’s (November 17) sloppy track slowed down times, but Lakeside Al N ($5.40) was able to splash to a win in the featured $7,000 conditioned event at Northfield for driver Elliott Deaton, trainer John Oliverio and owner Pat Holden.

It was his tenth win of the year and he has now won 24 of 96 career starts.

The fastest miles of the night were posted by Caviarandsoftmusic ($2.80) and Ray Fisher, Jr., in a rare Northfield Park appearance, and Notorious J B ($2.40). Each paced in 1:56.1, two-fifths of a second faster than Lakeside Al.

Caviarandsoftmusic is owned and trained by Fisher and the win put him over $200,000 for his career. Andy Shetler trains and drives Notorious J B for Keith and Virginia Dockery.

Shetler, Deaton and Matt Kakaley each doubled on Saturday, while leading pilot Aaron Merriman scored a three-bagger.
