Northfield, OH — Gerald Goldberg’s Look To Book, who posted her first win of the season last Friday in the $8,000 Mares Open Handicap Pace, made it two in a row on Friday, March 16, at Northfield Park.

Look To Book, with Todd Jones driving, sat behind M D Jewel after a take/retake at the :28.1 quarter and then waited until the top of the stretch to go by in the passing lane to post a 1:56.3 win. Nells Bells, driven by 18-year-old Matt Kakaley, flew from way back to finish third.

Mark Deaton trains the winner, a 4-year-old Nobleland Sam mare, who has now earned $91,766 lifetime.
