Dover, DE — Love You Most, a four time winner already this meet, including the previous $22,000 Open Handicap Trot, leads a strong field of eight in the Wednesday, December 29 feature at Dover Downs. Post time is 4:30 p.m.

Owned by veteran horsemen Ed and George Hobbs, Eddie Dennis trains and drives Love You Most in her last start of 2004. She closed to beat the Jim Morand-driven Zizi’s Comet, owned by Frank Ambrose and trainer Tony Poliseno, by two lengths in their last meeting. Front-trotting Jake’s Nordic, owned by Dan and Tom Courtemanche, cut out the early fractions for Tim Curtin but tired to finish third in that event.

Preston Walls’ Mr Incredible has been racing well for trainer-driver Vic Kirby, with two close seconds to show for his last two starts. Stakes campaigner Rocky Balboa, owned by Rojan Stable and Doc & Me Inc., with Hal Belote, Bob Harper and Bill Vandevort’s Ringside Leah, with talented female driver Leah Vandervort, Tequila Daddy, owned by Barbato, Harley and Joie DeVie Farm, with Brad Hanners driving, and Pretty Goal Vita, owned by Helen Looney and JoAnn King, handled by Jim King, are the opposition.

Crystal Ball Stable’s Notorious Buck (Travis Bowman) won last time out and drew the rail in the $15,500 Winners Over Trot sub-feature. Freedom Reins Stable’s razor sharp Esquire Ascot (Roger Plante), R Little Am Lo (Eddie Davis, Jr.), racing for Ken Wood and Howie Perlmutter, from a quartet dropping from the Open ranks, along with Massina Stables and driver Mark Lancaster’s Play Chip, Mary Witko’s Passing Point (Eddie Nickle) and Wendy Crissman and 49 Racing Stables’ Los Barvos (Hal Belote) will be tough.

The other starters, John Lohnes’ Mic Mac Jack (Jim King), Tyler Stillings’ Getinthephoto (Brad Hanners), and Fred Hertrich’s Orillia Bam Bam (George Dennis) are also factors.

E&K Stable’s Jasper Bob (Eddie Dennis) leads the first of two $10,800 Delaware Paces while Sultan Of Suede, owned by Paradee, Swinford and Warren Racing, heads the other division of the top pacing events of the day.
