Lynch favorites draw outside

Wilkes-Barre, PA — Just Wait Kate (Ray Paver) and Marnie Hall (Stephane Bouchard), two of the favorites in the $154,740 James M. Lynch Memorial Pace on Saturday night (June 18) at Pocono Downs, have drawn outside posts.

Undefeated in two starts this season, Just Wait Kate will be leaving from the seven post while Marnie Hall will be leaving from the eight hole.

Paver drove Just Wait Kate to a 1:52.4 victory in one of last Saturday’s three elimination races for the three-year-old pacing fillies. Just Wait Kate left from the one post in that race, closing in :27.2.

Meanwhile, Marnie Hall was winning another Lynch elimination event from the four hole with a time of 1:53 with Bouchard driving. The three-year-old filly has won four of six starts this year with a second and a third.

Born Storyteller, driven by Tom Jackson, won the third elimination race with a time of 1:53.3 from the six post. Born Storyteller drew the four post for the second biggest race of the 2005 season at Pocono Downs.

Other horses in the field and posts include 1 – Make Me Money (Herve Filion), 2 – AllAmerican Coed (Joe Pavia, Jr.), 3 – Dontsqueezethebaby (Mike Simons), 5 – Up Front Norma (George Napolitano, Jr.), 6 – Hank’s Girl (Jim Taggart, Jr.), and 9 – Sub Rosa Hanover (Mike Wilder).
