Three divisions of the Maryland Standardbred Race Fund are set for Friday’s card at Rosecroft Raceway. The second race brings the freshman filly trotters to the gate, while the three-year-old distaff trotters are scheduled for the sixth and the eighth races.

The two-year-olds will vie for a generous purse of $27,085. The field of seven appear well-matched, however, the favorite of the group is Lindmeakiss, at 5-2 morning line odds. The daughter of Lindy Lane, trained by Stephen Shoeffel, currently holds a record of 2:04.3 and over $19,000 in earnings. She races for owners Joe Offutt and William Kreutzer, and will leave the gate from post six with her trainer at the lines.

Second choice, from post three, is Amber Alert at 3-1 with trainer-driver Bill Long in the bike. Owned by Dale Massey, the SJ’s Caviar filly will make her first lifetime start with this race. Most recently, she qualified in 2:03.0 on the Rosecroft oval.

Also competing are English Class (G. Daisey Jr., 4-1), Beautiful Dreamer (Kelly Staten, 12-1), C U Better (Lloyd Gilmour, 7-2), Commanding Juan (Les Givens, 6-1) and Whitesville Lee (David Hill III, 8-1).

The sophomore trotters take center stage in the sixth, worth $14,799, and Leanna Rose heads the field as the 9-5 choice. The winner of over $60,000 lifetime, the daughter of Go Get Lost starts from post four with regular driver Donnie Russell in the bike. Owned by William Brent Outten and Virginia Fisher, Leanna Rose hails from the training barn of Josh Green and has a record of 1:58.4.

Whitesville Blaze (David Hill III, 10-1), Sj’s Ballerina (Joe Offutt, 2-1), Hurrigale (Betsy Brown, 6-1), Bruschetta (John Gazzerro, 8-1), Red Oak’s Barb (Ron Millman, 8-1) and Juanna Play Slots (Corey Braden, 8-1) complete the field.

Pacific Centerfold dominates the eighth race, worth $14,999, and will open on the board as the 8-5 choice. Owner Eddie Lohmeyer trains and drives the SJ’s Photo filly. Co-owned by Patricia Hogan and Joan Stoddard, Pacific Centerfold made her last start a winning one at Ocean Downs, topping a field of Race Fund trotters in 2:01.3. This year, she set a lifetime best of 1:56.0 at Woodbine.

Rounding out the field are Princess Nina (Corey Braden, 6-1), Whitesville Penny (David Hill III, 10-1), Sail With Me (Vic Kirby, 8-1), Mountain Breez (Chris Offutt, 4-1), Spring Search (Donnie Russell, 8-1), Diamond Deal (Kelly Staten, 6-1) and Jammin Nicki (W. Marsh, 12-1).

Post time for Rosecroft’s exciting 14-race card is set for 7:20 p.m. on Friday.
