Mojo N The Morning was a 1:57 winner in the OSAS final.

With Shopaholic (Roger Mayotte) and Foamy (John Brooks) self-destructing at the start, eight fillies were left to tussle for the lead off the gate, with Paul MacDonell sending Frenchfrysnvinegar smartly to the front of the pack. Jack Moiseyev settled Mojo N The Morning into a comfortable third position, with Hell Hath No Fury (Trevor Ritchie) riding the pocket through a :27.1 first quarter.

As the field reached the half-mile marker in a leisurely :57.2, Moiseyev put the pedal to the metal and moved Mojo N The Morning smartly to the lead, with Frenchfrysnvinegar settling into the pocket spot and Hell Hath No Fury in third. Oaklea Quiz and Jason Brewer came calling on the outside but couldn’t clear as Mojo opened up a two length lead heading into the stretch.

In the final strides, Frenchfrysnvinegar rallied and fought back, but Mojo N The Morning held on to win in 1:57, 1-1/4 lengths to the good. Oaklea Quiz grabbed the show spot, with Scottish Cross (Randy Waples) moving up for fourth.

This was the second consecutive victory for the daughter of Angus Hall, who is trained by Frank Colville for daughter Joanne. The effort fattened her bankroll to a total of $66,504.
