Morgan runs win total to 43 in nine days

HARRINGTON, Del. – Tony Morgan is well on his way to breaking the record for most wins at a meet at Harrington Raceway. Morgan won six more races Thursday, bringing his total to 43 in just nine days.

Brad Hanners currently has the record for most wins at a meet at Harrington with 118 set in the fall of 2005.

Morgan won the third race with Amboy Rocket ($3.20), the fifth with Soul Redeemer ($6.20), the sixth with Staying Power ($3.60), ninth with Sa Lemon Chip ($10), 10th with Todd’s Jackpot ($2.80) and the 12th with Costa Rayson ($4.20).
Driver Ross Wolfenden won two races and is the second leading driver with 13 wins.
Harrington Raceway’s signature event, the $150,000 First State Free-for-All will take place on Memorial Day May 29th. Some of the top aged pacers in the sport are expected for the event.
Racing resumes Sunday with a 5:30 p.m. post time.
