Mr Muscleman crushes Father Foley foes

East Rutherford, NJ – Mr Muscleman [$2.40, $2.10, $2.10] crushed his Father Foley foes with another gate-to-wire victory in the $20,000 second leg of series on Sunday afternoon at the Meadowlands.

With driver Ron Pierce at the lines, Mr Muscleman strolled through fractions of 27.2, 56.2 and 1:26.2, while easily repelling the challenge of Beach Nut Brand. He pulled away to 3-1/2 length victory in 1:53.1.

Trained by Noel Daley and owned by Adam Victor & Son Stable, Mr Muscleman is the richest Standardbred in training with just under $3.4 million in earnings. The 2005 Trotter of the Year has won 35 of 65 lifetime starts and also received divisional honors in 2003 and 2004.

The 7-year-old gelding has been invited to race in the prestigious Elitlopp at Solvalla Racecourse in Sweden on Sunday, May 27. Racing fans will be able to watch and wager on the event live at the Meadowlands that morning.
