Mr Muscleman powerful in Cutler Prep

East Rutherford, NJ – In a final tune-up for his trip to Sweden, Mr Muscleman [$3.40, $2.40, $2.10] romped to a 1:52 victory in a $40,000 prep race for the Arthur J. Cutler Memorial on Friday night at the Meadowlands.

With Ron Pierce at the lines, Mr Muscleman accelerated away to a 2-3/4 length win over Ripped in a prep race for the Arthur J. Cutler Memorial.

With Ron Pierce at the lines, Mr Muscleman brushed to the lead along the backstretch and accelerated away to a 2-3/4 length win over Ripped [$5.00, $2.10]. Brunton Tilly [$2.10] finished third after grinding out a first-over trip and drifting wide in the lane.

Mr Muscleman will miss next Saturday’s $185,000 Arthur J. Cutler Memorial Final as he gets ready to ship to Sweden for the Eltilopp, Europe’s most prestigious racing event, on Sunday, May 27 at Solvalla Racecourse in Stockholm.

Trained by Noel Daley, Mr Muscleman is a perfect three-for-three this season. The 7-year-old gelding is the richest Standardbred racehorse currently in training with a bankroll of $3.4 million. The 2005 Trotter of the Year is owned by Adam Victor & Son Stable of New York, New York.

Racing fans will be able to watch Mr Muscleman and wager on the Elitlopp simulcast on May 27 at the Meadowlands. Guests will be able to wager on six races from Solvalla, starting at 10:02 a.m. The final heat of the Elitlopp is scheduled for 11:05 a.m.
