Columbus, OH — The sophomore trotting filly Ms Pollyanna remained unbeaten in three starts this season with a victory in a division of the Killbuck Mary Series on Thursday, May 22, at Scioto Downs.

The filly by Hambletonian winner Chip Chip Hooray went straight to the front from post eight and led all the way as she scored by 7-3/4 lengths in 2:00.2. Kyle Ater drove for his father, trainer Dan Ater, and owner J.D. Burnett.

Last year Ms Pollyanna won only once in eight starts, but in her races this year no trotter has been able to get within three lengths of the front-running filly.

In other divisions of the Killbuck Mary, both were won by a neck in identical times of 2:00.4. Jennys Jammys scored for trainer-driver-owner Sam “Chip” Noble while Mz Friendly triumphed for Kayne Kauffman.

In the fastest division of the Steamin Demon for pacers, the father-and-son team of Dan and Kyle Ater again won with Firms Randsome, now unbeaten in two starts this season. He came from behind to win by a neck in 1:57.

Polo Johnny made it two straight with his easy 1:58 win in the other division of the Steamin Demon.
