Toronto, ON — She was a handy winner in both preliminary legs of the Miss Vera Bars Pacing Series for 3-year-old fillies, and now Murray Brethour trainee Mylittlerebel is poised to make it a series sweep.

Mylittlerebel will be seeking a series sweep in Thursday’s Miss Vera Bars final.

The Camluck lass will have to accomplish that feat with an unfamiliar driver at the lines, however. With Randy Waples engaged to pilot her stablemate, Artists Dynasty (who scored a victory in her division of the series opener, but could only manage a third in the sequel last week), Mylittlerebel will be guided for the first time this Thursday night by veteran linesman Mike Saftic.

But with an ideal post position (three) to suit her front-charging style, Mylittlerebel has been rated the 2-1 favorite in this field of 10 lightly-raced sophomores, and may well add a third trip to the winner’s circle to her 2009 record.

The C$46,300 final of the Miss Vera Bars series goes postward as race six on Woodbine’s Thursday, February 12 card. Post time is 9:05 p.m. (EST).
