Wilkes-Barre, PA — Native Bride, a winner of four straight at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs, has drawn the four post for the $250,792 James M. Lynch Final, set for Saturday (June 14) at the Northeastern Pennsylvania racetrack.

The 3-year-old Allamerican Native filly produced the fastest time of the three Lynch elimination winners last Saturday, stopping the timer in 1:51.3 while scoring a 3-1/2 length win over Ideal Newton.

Native Bride, owned by Jay Sears and T H Stable LLC, won the $27,250 May Flowers Final for 3- and 4-year-old pacing fillies and mares at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs previously. In that race, Native Bride established a new life mark of 1:51.2. That’s when her owners decided to supplement Native Bride, who is trained and driven by Joe Pavia, Jr., for $15,000 and a $1,000 starting fee for the Lynch. Native Bride’s last two wins were by a combined 13 lengths.

Ideal Newton, with Ron Pierce in the bike, will be leaving from the two hole in the Lynch final. Other finalists and posts include 1. Rusty Again, 3. Fiddle Rose, 5. Loving Caroline, 6. Respectable, 7. Sand Pleasure, 8. Lightning Glory, and 9. Gentle Artist.

Respectable, trained by Steve Elliott and driven by Yannick Gingras, won her elimination with a time of 1:52 while Loving Caroline was a victor in 1:52.4.
