The New Jersey Racing Commission has, through mutual agreement with counsel for trainer Mickey Burke, tabled a proposed settlement meeting regarding rulings that allege lidocaine positive tests in horses trained by Burke. A meeting had been scheduled for Wednesday, November 19; no date has been set for revisiting the matter.

The two tests in question occurred at The Meadowlands, on December 9, 2006 with the horse Doggone Incredible and March 22, 2007 with the horse Smashing Principessa.
